Privacy Policy

Short version: we do not keep your speed test results, and we never ask who you are.

Last updated: July 2026

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you, stored by us. Your speed test results stay in your browser for the length of your visit and are gone when you close the tab. We do not run a database of results.

What happens during a test

Running a test sends data to and from Cloudflare’s public speed endpoints. Cloudflare necessarily sees your IP address, as any server does when you connect to it. Their handling of that is covered by Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

We display your IP address and provider name on screen so you can see them. That display is generated in your browser and is not sent to us.

The tools page

The tools run in your browser and query public services directly:

  • DNS Lookup queries Cloudflare’s resolver over HTTPS.
  • IP Lookup for an address you type uses a third party geolocation service.
  • IPv6 Test contacts IPv4-only and IPv6-only endpoints to see which respond.
  • Browser Info reads values your browser already exposes to every site. Nothing is transmitted.

Whatever you type into those tools goes to the service being queried, not to us.

Advertising

This site does not display advertising. No ad networks, ad cookies, or ad personalisation run on this site.

We do not have access to the data Google collects and we cannot connect it to anything on our side.

Cookies

We set no cookies of our own, and the site loads no advertising or tracking cookies. The speed test and every tool work without any cookies.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete. For data held by Google, use the Google links above.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
